APOGEP – Associação Portuguesa de Gestão de Projetos is a non-profit association created to promote and give credibility to project management and support professionals whose activity is developed in this area.
The Association was created in 1994 and has been linked from the beginning to the International Project Management Association (IPMA), the largest European entity in the field of project management.
APOGEP arises due to the growing needs of companies and managers to have an institution that supports them in the acquisition of new skills in modern management and in the certification of professionals in project management.
APM – Associação Portuguesa de Management is a non-profit association, established in 1977, whose objectives are:
a) Promote the professional and social development of managers so that they can contribute to the prosperity of the society in which they operate;
b) To promote the dissemination and awareness of the importance of management principles and techniques in its different aspects, as a dynamic element of socio-economic development;
c) Foster the exchange of information on experiences and applications carried out within the scope of management.
Currently, the APM is made up of around 2,000 members, being part of the association Individual Members and Collective Members.
APM is a member of CECIOS – European Council of Management.
With the commemoration of the twenty-five years (25 years) of the founding of the Portuguese Management Association (APM), which took place on September 15, 1977, the aim was essentially to record the constitution of the governing bodies, list the events that over time were carried out and highlight important events in the life of the Association.
APGEI is the Portuguese Association for Industrial Management and Engineering.
It is a not-for profit organisation founded in 1985 by companies and universities with the following objectives: to promote the development and the application of new methods and technologies relevant for industrial management and engineering; to promote better education for managers and technical staff in order to permanently improve industrial processes; and to develop stronger relationships between companies and universities. APGEI’s members include some of Portugal leading industrial, retailing and banking companies.”
